    hi all,
    thats my first post so i have to thank u all for this great forum...

    i have some ideas concerning an EA based on point and figure charts, is there any possibility to do this with metatrader? can the point and figure chart be showed as indicator maybe? if yes, i will explain my trading idea more detailled then...

    I would really like to see something done with P&F charts. An EA for this style of charting would be great. There are several P&F Indicators that seem to work well.

    Forex Trading

    And I'm sure there are more.

    I'll be interested in watching the progress of this thread and forward testing any P&F EAs.

    good indiaktor,,, although it shows in the same window of the original chart, its good, but it doesnt have the option of defining the amount for creating a reversal box... i assume its set to 1 (dt know where to change it) but we need 3... otherwise we get too much false signals..
    moreover i find its good that the new column is on same height of the old, not one box higher or deeper....

    Sorry about that. Hey there are others out there. When I was kicking the idea around, I found 3 or 4 of them. I still think that P&F charts have a future in forex. The problem is that we all rely on computers and the P&F charts were meant to be used in a hand held notepad. I'll do some more checking and see if I can find any more for you.

    This one allows you to change box size and I believe Min box changes the reversal but it really slows down your platform
