    but i can not say you how much is tp. trader must recognize trend and set tp

    i think this strategi work good to some extend. i hope ....

    ma=233
    ma=13
    ma=26
    crossing 3 moving avrage is good for buy and sell

    Elliot, thanks. I did check on 233, 26. Works very well indeed.
    There is something you can use in your setups, it's a trend filter u can add to your setups.

    the system looks very bad to me because as you dont enter were the cross is you enter were the price is at when the cross happens and as you can see on the sell cross above you actualy make a loss!!
    ( i take it that when they both go under the 233ma you enter the trade)

    and these losses seemed to happen allot when i was skimming over the charts....

    and the wins are much less then they look like too cause of what i mentioned before-...

    best of luck to you guys

    in Elliot's example you don't make much on the sell side but you shouldn't loose if you use EMA26 as cut out stop and reference smaller time frame, but you make much more on buy side. Idea isn't in trading every move, but be in the market when it potentially makes its biggest move. And again Elliot just gives an overall idea, you have to do your own diligence and fine tune the system. We created an 3MA EA (follow Gitanico link), you can check best periods combination through optimization for each specific market and time frame. For GBP/JPY M5 for example best periods would be 220,27,10.
    Another thing you can do is use XMA color 233 filter instead of EMA 233. So it shows overall up movement and you simply buy along bigger trend on pullbacks. Also if you see a particular timeframe, let's say H1 got choppy or tests on EA unprofitable, go to M15 and M5 and all the way to M1 to find better opportunities.

    This is for people who do actual live trading or actual demo tests manually, for those who want to pull actual pips from the market and do some work. System isn't perfect, but proven to be very practical on demo and live accounts. You definitely should be aware of the week sides of the system and I am spelling for you the workarounds. Do some extra searches. Also you always watch at least one time frame above and one time frame below when you trading your main time frame.

    Snobs, analysts and 100% system seekers should look elsewhere.

    Also try and compare. just put it on the screen and try to trade. Then put some other setup and try to stay profitable. You shall see, that this is a good setup that will bring you pips.

    Also manual setup is personal. May not work for everyone.

    If you are aware of a better setup, please make your post, we are going to test it

    well im no "Snobs, analysts and 100% system seekers "
    i accept that systems will not always win ...
    my own system is not to differnt from your set up ... mine only uses 2 lines , but the diffence is that at a glance mine is more profitable than when i take a glance at yours , thats why im not going to pressue this one as much , i will drop in time to time to see if any break throughs are made ...
