Yes i have notied that alsostill i am just doing a short term backtest using martingal and it looks quite profitable, i am very impressed! it looks like a very good EA because even though it gets losses, it does not have a lot in a row, if you use martingale it returns to a good profit with very litte DD also!
Anyhow i am sure it can be improved at least it has the potential to be something good

Here is a the level backtest, yes i know it has NA for model quality, the reason why i have only done a very short backtest with not a lot of data history.
Still it does at least show how this EA has the potential to be good.
When i get time and download more data history, then i can do a few years backtest with 90% model quality
WBR Yes it looks good...The basic concept is solid but a little "insight" as to it's strategy would save us a LOT of time getting to actual results so we can accurately evaluate it. I'll keep you posted of any success too...BillR
I will do the same. Backtests can be good, however the best way to test is on forward. I am going to test on forward for the next month and will post my results at the end. I am going to use very low risk settings, so don't expect much profit if any, will be interesting to see

Can you create an EA for High_Low[ZigZag],barn:20,Length:1.When a cross up,it sells,when a cross down,it closed sell order and open a buy order vice versa.I think the best timeframe is D1.
