Default How to change the spread into MT4 strategy tester

The MT4 strategy tester spread is buggy, it doesn't stop to pick the current spread for backtesting. It doesn't take into consideration the commission that you need to add to the spread.

Here is a good script to override it.

It will create a symbols.sel file that you will need to put in history/ current demo server

A better script. It modifies the current symbols.sel file, put it into the files folder.
