    Default Custom indicator show past w/o millions of bars

    the title was the best i could come up with.

    having several years of data, and a custom indicator....to see the custom indicator would need to set number of bars in the millions to see it.

    is there any solution to this? can I not load and show the chart for a specified time period, therefore not needing to load millions of bars to see the custom indicator?
