Default How do I add line numbers?

    Hi Funyoo,

I've noticed that every time someone new joins (like myself) the same questions get asked over and over again.

Seems like there should be a better way to search for the answer or have the information available somewhere. For example, I had some questions regarding the .set file and found the answer (accidentally) on a post and someone responded to my question about it. Granted after using and setting the parameters I really do know what it is and does and how to "read" it but obviously it is a common question. So anyhow this can be frustrating without some kind of documentation.

Do you think there could be a market for a programming reference manual for this language? Maybe we could all pitch in and share the wealth. Might make more with that than running EAs.

Anyhow, one of the things that I have not been able to figure out is how to add line numbers to the code. When I run compile it gives me line numbers to debug the code but alas, counting lines is not a good solution; so, how do you add line numbers?

    Hi Vigilanti,

You just have to see the line number at the right corner in the bottom of MetaEditor.

For the programming reference manual, yes it should be a good idea, but it would take a lot of time. I don't think that we have this time.

Later I will add an annex to this section with the main questions sorted by kind.
