the "commercial Joury-EA" is just a stolen EA which you can get for free.
The seller of this Joury-EA is calling himself "MJ" and he even copied answers from the forum of the true author of the EA.

This "MJ" runs a website where he offers cracked versions of many commercial EAs and Manual Systems for free, but people often find out that these cracked versions produce huge losses on their accounts.
They are asking questions which are never answered by "MJ". It is like a nightmare there.

Here is a comment from someone at Donnaforex-forum where the true author appeared and confirmed everything.

When the developer of Joury started to send me decompiled EAs with my purchase of Joury I had a feeling that the “developer” just found an old EA and was selling it. Donna even warned that this guy was up to no good, but we couldn’t really prove it. Well after some research I finally uncovered the EA. It’s called ”trendchaser super ea V34” and it’s written by Tom Liles, who runs trendchaser.org. I’ve let Tom know about this, unfortunately Tom is down on his luck and living in a campground right now according to some of his last posts. He says his site will only be out until the next payment is due, so take a look, it s a great site with a lot of info. He even has a how to build an EA tutorial.

V34.1 version I believe is Joury V2. In the thread link below he provides some tools to close trades etc. Note that he also says that it’s sometimes necessary to close all trades to avoid DD! The download here he calls V34.1, but the V34.1 download on the previous link is different, so I don’t know what version this really is. He calls it the final one and it looks like Joury V2.

If you read through Tom’s forum, he really seems like an EA master of sorts. Before he got kicked out of his house he was working on a project where he would sell you a subscription to his EA. He would then monitor what the day’s trend looked like and sent settings to your EA so that it traded properly for that day. Imagine the potential in something like that. Unfortunately I don’t think he ever got it off the ground.

In any case, it looks like he lets people use his EA’s and give a donation via his link if you feel you would like to. We have to get this guy out of the campground . If you end up using this EA I’m sure he would appreciate it.

I’m going to create a thread in the Free EA’s forum and copy this information into it. Perhaps those that want to continue with this EA can do so in other thread and Donna can close and freeze this thread right here.

I do think this EA has potential, especially the V2 version I have been demoing successfully for about a month. I will write more about this in the new thread. Lets continue to talk about this EA in the Free area where it belongs, I will start a thread soon.

This is an EA with potential, however, its based on a free EA discussed elsewhere on the Forum and the support is non existent. It has massive drawdowns based on a hedging feature which is cavalier at best. It would probably be ahead if the stop loss is controlled properly and the hedging feature disabled but I dont have sufficient technical competence to do this...or a handbook to enable me to tinker wth the settings so good luck!

also its not easy to drive, it trades m5, and can place up to 1000 trades
i do not recommend using this ea

i made the ea to run on gbp-jpy, on m5
it does great for up to 3 months, but about every 3 months gj goes into a long range, that last a week or longer, the ea cannot survive it, regardless of account size

u see it doubles everytime the trend reverses

theres also a certain size range, that the ea becomes the perfect loser, the long term sar will perfectly hit tops n bottoms, that particular range can wipe you out in just 1 day

backtests arent so accurate, but with this ea, it does better in live trading than it does in tests, because the innaccuracy of the test dont quite hit target
