Problem solved with the settings ixbone has given. Was wondering what the best pairs and time frame to trade with the sequencer is. I have noticed that i seem to get the best results using the hour charts, is that stragne considering i thought the EA was meant to be traded on the min charts

The other thing i have noticed the EA does very well at the start of strading but as it progresses it seems to always blow up the account, well it does mine anyhow!

nice to hear that ur problems are solved....I use the "Sequencer"

1. From Monday to Thursday.
2. TF M5 works great for me...usually i start the EA when 3MAs crossover.
3. I avoid Asian Session and always try to catch London Session becoz of volatility.
4. Use it for pairs like EURUSD and GBPUSD....i don't use it for high spread or ranging Pairs like EURGBP or AUDNZD.
5. I keep "StopTradingAfterSequence = true"....becoz unless i am happy with the market move or volatility i don't start the EA....as i said before in a ranging market this EA could blow up ur accout.

Trading is all about comfort and confidence....if you are happy with TF H1, then use it on TF H1....it is always better to find out own set up.

Hello AlisNutrio,

Nice to see you....I checked the "Lucky 7" setup as well.....honestly i felt that is a risky setup....Risk/Reward ratio is very high.....i tested that setup in a demo account.....had couple of bad lucks....

with that setup you have to understand the market volatility very well....or have to catch the trend at the right moment.....if you get trapped into the Ranging market than you are finished....ooppsss

I saw the creator of "Sequencer" uses that setup very nicely.....however, i am not comfortable with that setup.....i think more experienced traders (martingale) like IX might be more comfortable with that kind of setup.....i think this is not the setup for small traders or Newbies.....

yes i did stop in the mid sequence....lot of times i stopped the EA at Break Even.....even stopped lot of times when i was in little profit or loss and found the market is not so volatile...or didn't like the market move for the EA.........even sometime to give it a new start to have 24 trades in hand.....but honestly this EA never wiped out my account.....i had maximum 17 trades in a row....however, sometime i panic....lol....and you will too....

My 2 cents:
Not the martingale concept is wrong, the SL settings are, or style of the next entry in the sequence! Also a ranging market is not the problem, if you keep an eye on the upcoming high impact news and cot report, you must go out of the sequence - before! Thats what Prof/Bank traders do! This is the reason why an high impact on news occours. Buit I know its very hard to get the news early, only reuters or bloomberg will help, but expensive for realtime news

Tip: Trade your martingale manual, if you are comfort with your setup, build an EA on it - analyze the market (news, cot report, price action)and analyze your system (every trade, time, why you enter, how much, result)

Tip2: Dont follow EA's blindly, you must know what any EA does at any time = read and learn the code
