Yes this one seems complicated.
In fact, when the close of the bar is over the pivot line which is (high+low)/2, and ask is over the high of this previous bar we buy, when the close bar is under this pivot line, and the bid is under the low of this previous bar we sell.

Question for Funyoo:
In your view, based on your experience of calibrating this EA, which ranges of which parameters did you find most useful for tweaking?
I thought this could be useful for, say, a weekly calibration based on the week just passed, just to maintain the EA's profitability.
Thanks

According to what I have seen, the expert is already very well optimized. There is only the optimization of the "ad.TakeFactor" that is useful. But you can do deep optimization without problem as the backtesting is done fast with this code.
Unfortunately, the ACB1 has no specific exit rule. It only closes orders at stop loss. This part will need improvements.

but I saw a trailing stop loss on the last trade!
This is an interesting EA to me as the next trade had a different TP...this is a dynamic thing measuring something and then setting it's TP...I do not have more to share...I must learn this EA a little more...I do not code...I am only a forward tester...

Here is another version, with a trailing stop option.

ok funyoo,
Here is what I got so far....this is forward testing from 12/19/08 with the defaults except I changed the risk to 0.01 as I use a 1K account on IBFX mini Demo with EUR/USD H1
There are a max of three open trades placed at the signal. It is not an "always in" EA...but it can go right back into the trade after an exit in the same direction or the opposite direction...it must be up to the pivot indicator.. The trade duration can last a long time even 2 or 3 days.....
ES
P.S. I really like this EA...It adjusts the lotsize in an interesting way...I have not quite figured this out yet....It wins a lot and the DD can be heavy, but not uncomfortable at 0.01 per 1K. Its almost like it ranks the trade set up in some magic way.

Good results ES! :-)
Do you have this on 1 chart only? If so, what time frame did you run it on?
Did you change any of the parameters? TIA!
I have this on my chart as well, but it hasn't placed any trades this week. :-(
