I only use eurgbp, so 1 pair with a 5 to 10% risk! i have changed the hours of trading and lowered the SL.

But anyone that wants to trade fapturbo or any robot should indeed optmize it for your broker, because what settings that work for me may not work for you and so on!

Which pairs are you using fap for?

It is doing very well for me, no losses in over a month and prior to that i had only a loss once every so often, i am way up in profits on my live account in forward trading.

In backtesting using the imputs i have optimized it for from 1999 to 2009 my account never failed to make a profit each year of trading, even using a low risk of 5% my smallest return for 1 year of trading was around 30% but on average it was much higher than that!

Well not bad for a robot that you call pure garbage, i do hope i get more of those garbage robots!

which broker are you using right now. i have tested on real account on fxopen, liteforex and instaforex. the result for few months now was really bad. it give profit in early 2009. I think the broker started to "play' with the data during fapturbo trading time. last time i can profit even with 7 pips margin (GBPCHF) on fxopen. now more loss than profit trade.

Well i live in Australia and use a broker local to me which is gomarkets GO Markets...First choice for trading - Home the spreads are always tight and maybe that is why fapturbo is making good money for me with them! eurgbp and eurchf are always less than 4, however in all my tests in forward and backtests in the long run the best pair to only trade is eurgbp and so that is what i do!

Risk reward ratio is inverted in FapTurbo, meaning wins are much less then potential loss or the Stop loss. System is trying to survive solely on greater % of winning trades and at the expense of risk/reward. The reason stop loss is kept wide just to keep %of winning trades high- just barely survive. This is inefficient design. Increasing profitability by widening stops (increasing risk) is a dead end approach that will hunt you down. Such system will always be unstable performer and suffer from periodic losses for weeks and month in a row, too sensitive to broker and the particular market.
And that's exactly what we see. When it wins, we see proud FapTurbo owners start claiming their bragging rights and when it start loosing, less patient start screaming and dumping it from their portfolios for the refund.

When evaluating trading system it's important to consider 2 factors:
1. Reward should be greater then risk per trade.
2. % of winners should be greater.

So Fap works, but the question is how it works. Steam engine also works but it was replaced by internal combustion because it is more efficient. And even that is being gradually replaced by electric motors as technology advances.

Similary smarter trading technology is going to replace Fap Turbo.

Aspiring traders should shop smarter. When you buy a new car, you don't just look for anything that moves for the moment, you look for performance in a long run, stability, efficiency and style. There are guides written on how to pick a good car or a good house, signs to look for.

So Why not to check your trading system for win/loss ratio, % of winners, draw downs. These are sure signs.

The only key marketing FapTurbo argument is "We are the most reputable junk EA designers". But why waste time improving and marketing bad ideas. Oh, just because it makes $$$ to play on the crowd ignorance?
