Default CLOPMA FOREX WINNING SYSTEM: Daily Calls for May 13th 2011

The CLOPMA system normally would avoid trading weekends including Fridays as much as possible. But for the purposes of continuity, I am posting the directional calls for your use in case you may want to dabble into Friday trading.

Default CLOPMA FOREX WINNING SYSTEM: How To Manually Trade the CLOPMA System

I have received a couple of emails requesting that I explain how a trader can use the directional signal calls of the CLOPMA system I have been posting here effectively.

First, you must note that the system is a trend following system which seeks to trade only in the direction of the underlying trend. The CLOPMA signal calls emphasize the underlying trend direction. Upward pointing arrows along with BUY calls suggests you should only be buying. On the other hand downward pointing arrows along with SELL calls suggests that you should be selling the referenced pair.

Second, the best time to enter a trade on a BUY CLOPMA signal is when a bullish bar appears on the 4 hour chart. Alternatively a sell order should only be placed when a bearish candle is forming on the 4 hour chart on a SELL CLOPMA signal. A HOLD CLOPMA signal suggests you hold off trading the pair untill the signal is well defined in the follow up call.

With this second rule in mind, the stoploss for a buy entry would be the low of the previous 4 hour candle and the stoploss for a sell entry would be set at the high of the previous 4 hour candle. As a rule of thumb, your takeprofit would be set at 2 to 3 times the stoploss distance.

Thirdly, the levels shown on the CLOPMA charts help determine the strength of the underlying trend. If the arrows point upward above the zero level, this would suggest a stronger uptrend. On the other hand if the arrows point downward below the zero level, it signals a stronger downtrend.

Lastly, use good risk management and lot sizing to govern all your trades.

    Happy trading.
