Hi I'm Peter and work at Beaned.com. Just to clarify, the payout rates listed on binary platforms depend on the asset class. For example when the posted rate is 81% , this means that for every $100 traded, $81 plus the original $100 will be returned on a trade that expires in the money. The rate can vary from 65% up to 90% depending upon the asset class, the duration to expiry and liquidity of the asset.

In some cases you can find payouts of 600% and up and what this is referring to is mainly the one-touch product. This means that if the predetermined asset with a predetermined strike price and duration is hit at any time during the life of the option that a payout of that amount will occur. So let's say that a 600% payout on a $100 trade means that $600 on top of the original $100 will be paid out to an option that hits the strike price in the duration. obviously this is a relatively low probability event but for some traders they have good modelling and thus are confident that the reward/probability ratio is of value.

    Hope this helps.
