Default Forgot to ask this question as well...

I think I figured out the answer to my last question....I found the optimizer in metatrader 4 but I am sure I will have future questions about it.

Anyway....I have an idea for an EA that involves only two indicators that are not custom. I would like to have it written so I can test it, any suggestions?

Has anyone learned to write their own advisors from scratch without knowing any code prior to? If so, where did you learn, and was it straight forward? I have seen some tutorials out there but all seem to confuse me.

Funyoo said I need to provide demo statements, I don't know what that means? Does he want me to manually trade it on a demo and show him the results? If so, I dont know if I have the time to do so?

    Thanks
    Ryan

    Ryan,

Yes he wants you to trade it first to find out if it is worthy...you can imagine that funyoo is bombarded with many enthusiastic traders at all experience levels with requests to make this or to make that....

There are so many systems here for you to tinker with Ryan...why don't you play with them for a while....they will do what you need and I am sure that your idea does not reinvent the wheel...There is not any magic with indicators...they are just ways to see OHLC on the fly...

If you really feel compelled to get your EA...PAY FOR IT! You should be able to get an EA for somewhere around 50 to 300 hundred bucks...what a small price to pay...

    Thanks for the reply ElectricSavant,
I understand...so basically just manually trade it and keep the history and send it to him? The other thing, can you suggest somewhere where I can go to pay the 50-300 bucks to have it made? I have no clue where to start, I would pay the $50 for sure.

    Thanks
