How are the spreads in FP Markets when compared with other ECN brokers like pepperstone and ICM? I currently trade with Pepperstone but the spreads are not consistent, especially during volatile markets.

I was trading with pepperstone before, even I felt that the spreads were inconsistent. Then switched to FP Markets Raw ECN account, the spreads are tighter here.

Stopped trading for a couple of months and now looking to start trading again. Checked reviews on many broker and FP Markets seem to have an advantage on lower spreads.
Would like to know if they offer free VPS and if the spreads are consistent during high market movements?
I'm looking for a broker with tighter spreads in major pairs like EURUSD and JPYUSD because my previous broker ICM spreads were not good, and I came across FP Markets.
Anyone here currently trading with them would explain how low the spreads start for most parts of the day, and is it stable during high market movements?
