I test it, it seems good EA
I'm new to forex but have some experience in the stock market.
I came across your MartingailExpert_v1.0_Stochastic (original) EA and was very impressed with the results.
On 13/07/2010 I started with $500 on a demo at Alpari UK, it grew to $3 876 in 3 days and then it wiped the account out completely. From what I read - This is what a martingail EA does.
Then I thought:
If someone can add this to the code:
Use any overbought/oversold indicator (RSI, Stochastic or...)
The Ea must stop trading when the price crosses the overbought or oversold line AND as soon as it crosses back over the overbought or oversold line all open orders, bought in the preceding trend, are closed.
Let assume that the market is in a UPTREND and the EA opens BUY orders. As soon as the price crosses above the overbought line (70,80,95...) all new open instructions are halted(nothing new is opened). THEN as soon as the price crosses back down over the overbought line (70,80,95...) all open orders are closed.
Let assume that the market is in a DOWNTREND and the EA opens SELL orders. As soon as the price crosses below the oversold line (30,20,10....) all new open instructions are halted(nothing new is opened). THEN as soon as the price crosses back up over the oversold line (30,20,10....) all open orders are closed.
Wouldn't this or something similar prevent a martingail from wiping your account out completely.
File Type: htm martingail_ec_15a.htm (344.7 KB, 88 views) Testing results.
This looks good but look at the last few transactions on the account. The account grew to $13206.65 THEN Losses $2098.56, $1623.75, $1115.74, $574.48, $591.09 Leaving you with balance $7203.02.
This is what a martingail EA does. A few transactions later your account would have been wiped.
If I understand the EA correctly it opens orders against the trend. IE BUY orders in a falling trend and Sell orders in a rising trend. The problem arises when the trend keeps on longer than anticipated. I don't think that a StopLoss will remedy this, because it will limit your profits.
Why not open orders in the direction of the trend, STOP opening any new orders when the stochastic indicator moves into overbought/oversold territory and then close all open orders when the stochastic indicator moves back into no-mans land (between overbought and oversold lines).
BUY orders will be closed when stochastic moves back down over overbought line.
Sell orders will be closed when stochastic moves back up over oversold line.
The overbought/oversold territory can be optimized to be whatever.

I am member of your elite service,
I want some modification for your martingale EA, please
can you reduce the risk,
if this EA enter martingale lot size , ( 0.01, 0.02, 0.04, ...), Can you have update the individual trade take profit ( TP), because...
Please can you update this method, I want to be check in alpari, Gomarket, fxpro, fxcm
Example: UK alpari broker live trading ticks price, can you check the price in alpari time: 27/09/2010 4:10 onwards
I want this type of EA trading method and the adjustments
0.01 lot EURUSD has buy price 1.34630, indidual TP: 1.34645
0.01 lot sell price : 1.34624, individual TP: 1.34609
pip step : 40 micro pip ( 5 digit broker)
if price move down
0.02 lot buy price: 1.34595, TP: 1.34610,
now 0.01 sell lot has reach the TP: 1.34609
if market move down
0.01 sell lot price: 1.34598, individual TP: 1.34583
if market move down
0.01 sell lot has reached, TP: 1.34583
then another sell
0.01 sell lot price: 1.34270, Individual TP: 1.34555
Price is move up, now
so now sell 0.02 lot
0.02 lot sell price: 1.34613, individual TP: 1.34598
price move up
0.02 lot buy has reach the profit, TP: 1.34610
price has another move up
0.01 lot buy has reach TP: 1.34645
0.04 lot sell price: 134646, individual TP: 1.34631
So in your EA we want update:

adjustable & individual Take profit pip
Adjustable Pip step
Number of step or order
Tradeable time GMT
equety percentage stop loss/profit reached then stop the trading
thank you funyoo
thank you for your quick reply
I backtested the original version of Martingailexpert v1 stochastic, with not bad result. But I have an idea. I think every martingale system would be much better if it always use the indicator to make decision about the market direction. So, inside in the martingale cycle as well. Did anybody try this before? Did you here about system like this? If not, could you change the code?

Looks nicely the old, wrong decision, 0.8 lot order. Around there the new decisions are good.
a ReverseSignal - Feature on the Martingail Expert would be very interesting.
Could someone add this to the ea?
Thank you very much!
